Northwest Classen worked to speed up the pace of the game; Bishop Kelley clearly wanted to play at a slower pace. In the second half Northwest Classen got their way speeding up the game to take a double-digit lead. Classen went on to victory.
In the final game of the night it was a fast paced offensive game. Del City was too much for Durant. The Eagles athleticism gave Durant fits. Issac Beverly had a night remember leading Del City to victory. The final tally was 73-57 in the Eagles favor.
Issac Beverly 2018 Del City Wing
Beverly is one great athlete at the two guard spot. He dominated on the court from start to finish for the Eagles. Beverly is a smooth, college ready body guard with a great hustle go getter attitude at all times on the court. Beverly has college potential at the next level without a doubt. He looked like a high Division II guard on Friday night. Keep a close eye on Beverly who is a two sport athlete (football).
Taylor Cox 2017 Durant Guard
Cox ran the Point for Durant and was very effective at getting his teammates good looks. He struggled to find his shot throughout the night. Del City did a great job putting pressure on him to get the ball out of his hands. Cox showed his can be a impact guy at the Division II level. He had a great senior season averaging over 26 points per game.
Christian Hoover 2018 Del City Wing
Hoover was as cool as the other side of the pillow on Friday night. He does things on the court quickly, but calmly. Hoover shot the ball fairly well form three-point range. He also used a nice ball fake to find offense for Del City. Hoover is clearly one of the leaders on this young talented Del City team.
Nate Davis 2018 Northwest Classen Point Guard
Speedy guard plays extremely hard. He hit some shots from mid-range. Did a good job of running the offense. Davis with some development could be a college player.
Mo Wilson 2018 Northwest Classen Guard
Wilson is a legit 6’5 Point Guard with some impressive skills. He did a little bit of everything on both ends snatching a couple of steals, throwing a few shots into the stands, getting his teammates involved and he scored the ball well. Wilson dominated in transition. He was excellent all night on the boards. Wilson has a chance to be one of the best sleepers Oklahoma has seen in some time in the 2018 class.
Izzy Braxton 2018 Northwest Classen Wing
Izzy shot the ball lights out from three-point range all night. With a quick trigger Bishop Kelley struggled to stop him from behind the line. The shot making ability opens up the offense for Northwest Classen. He is sneaky athletic.
Alex Woodruff 2017 Bishop Kelley Shooting Guard
Woodruff saw the floor for the final time in his high school career at Bishop Kelley, but certainly left everything on the floor. He shot the ball well from behind the arc. As a catch and shoot two Guard Woodruff could land a spot on a NAIA Division II squad and contribute right away.
Dalin Wiggins 2019 Northwest Classen Wing
Wiggins was fearless on Friday night for Northwest Classen. The fearless attitude of Wiggins is what makes him a special talent for the Knights. Wiggins did a great job of driving the ball strong to the basket. On the Wing at 6’4 Wiggins can shoot the ball and moves well like a two Guard. Wiggins is a player to keep an eye on to see how he develops over his high school career.
