Dominic Laravie (Alter)- 20.8 PPG, 56.7% FG, 7.7 REB, 2.0 STL, 1.8 BLK
Dominic was one of the most consistent players all season and was a huge reason for Alter’s success during the regular season. His ability to make plays on the block as well as step back and knock down three pointers made him a nightmare for defenders. Defensively, Dominic led the GCL in blocks per game.
Christian Montague (Chaminade-Julienne)- 23.6 PPG, 5.4 REB, 2.5 STL, 1.2 AST
Christian is one of the best scorers in the entire league, and arguably in the Dayton area as well. His ability to hit the three point shot or beat his defender one-on-one made him a tough matchup for defenders. Christian uses his defensive abilities as well to become a star in the League. He is a great on-the-ball defender, and he was one of the league leaders in steals.
Eli Ramsey (Carroll)- 14.3 PPG, 55.8% FG, 8.0 REB, 1.2 BLK
Eli came alive this season after a quiet season last year. He was in the top 5 in scoring and FG percentage all year. His athleticism as well as his size advantage made him a great defender as well as helped him be one of the leading rebounders in the league. With Eli only being a junior, I expect even bigger numbers next season.
C.J. Napier (Fenwick)- 12.1 PPG, 9.2 REB, 48.4% FG, 1.1 AST
C.J. has the potential to have a double-double any given night. His athleticism and hard-working mentality made him one of the best rebounders in the league this season. With his scoring abilities as well, C.J. is a dangerous player to defend, especially as tournaments begin soon. C.J. is only a sophomore and is expected to continue improving and lead the Falcons next season.
P’Hariz Watkins (Chaminade-Julienne)- 16.7 PPG, 3.4 AST, 1.8 STL, 3.3 REB
P’Hariz was part of a C-J guard combo that was one of the best in the entire Dayton Area. Besides being a scorer for the Eagles, P’Hariz was great when it came to setting up his teammates to score, as he was one of the top players in assists. Combine that with his athleticism and great defensive skills and you have one dangerous basketball player.
