MVP | DEVON FLOWERS | TPS ‘18
Devon Flowers was without question the most impactful two-way player in this contest. The athletic big man showcased a high motor, and constantly commanded double teams.
BEST PLAY
Not one play in particular stood out in this one, but it should be noted that Potomac School had a significant advantage from beyond the three point arc. The Panthers hit 11 treys as opposed to 3 for the Huskies.
BEST OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE | DEVON FLOWERS | TPS ‘18
Flowers scored a game-high 16 points on 7 of 13 from the field. The 6’8 forward showcased comfort on the perimeter, and a nice touch around the basket.
BEST DEFENSIVE PERFORMANCE | DEVON FLOWERS | TPS ‘18
Flowers blocked a game-high 4 shots, and altered a handful of others. He also swiped two steals.
BEST UNDER-THE-RADAR PERFORMANCE | ZACH HARRIS | TPS ‘17
Zach Harris did the little things to help his team earn a victory on senior night. The senior finished efficiently in traffic, and took two charges.
BEST GUY OFF THE BENCH | ISAIAH MOORE | FLINT HILL ‘18
Something about Isaiah Moore screams poise. The crafty junior is not afraid to go in the paint, and showcased a ton of confidence when finishing over much bigger defenders. Moore, who scored 8 points off the bench, is also a good passer.
BEST REBOUNDER | DEVON FLOWERS | TPS ‘18
Flowers pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds. The long & lanky big man can really elevate and secure the ball at it’s highest point.
BEST PASSER | JUSTICE ELLISON | FHS ‘20
Justice Ellison has the makings of a very good point guard if he continues to work hard and learn from the valuable experience he is getting this year. The smooth lefty is so adept at getting in the paint, and loves setting up his teammates for easy looks.
BEST CATCH AND SHOOT GUY | JUSTIN LAW | TPS ‘19
Justin Law led the Panther three-point barrage, and did it by moving well off the ball. The sophomore, who exhibits a quick and confident release on his shit, drained five treys.
BEST UNDERCLASSMEN | DOWAR JIOKLOW | FHS ‘20
Dowar Jioklow had some nice moments off the bench in this one. Jioklow knows how to shrewdly utilize his length to dominate defensively, and developing a nice post game.
