MVP | ANTHONY PEARSON | OHS ’17
Anthony Pearson played like a man on a mission last night. The unsigned senior posted a personal-best 39 points, showcasing various elements of his game on both ends of the court.
BEST OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE | ANTHONY PEARSON | OHS ’17
Pearson put on quite an offensive performance. He hit four threes, and hit 11 of 12 from the charity stripe.
BEST DEFENSIVE PERFORMANCE | DRAYKEAU HOGAN | OHS ’19
Draykeau Hogan played the passing lanes really well, and came up with a couple of steals in the first half. Hogan anticipates well, and has impressive quickness.
BEST UNDER-THE-RADAR PERFORMANCE | CONNOR WITHERS | OHS ’18
Connor Withers absolutely stuffed the stat sheet in this one. The long & lanky junior recorded 13 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 steals, and 3 assists. Withers demonstrated a good feel for the game, and a much improved skill set.
BEST GUY OFF THE BENCH | SHONARI STREET | BHS ’17
Shonari Street scored 7 points off the bench, and provided some toughness in the paint. Street also hit a 3, and blocked a couple of shots.

BEST CATCH AND SHOOT GUY | ANTHONY PEARSON | OHS ’17
Not only is Pearson duper deadly off the catch, but he also has a really quick and compact release. One other thing that stood out about Pearson is how well he moves to get open off the ball.
BEST UNDERCLASSMEN | DRAYKEAU HOGAN | OHS ’19
In a game featuring a handful of talented underclassmen, none were better than Hogan. Rocky Carter has clearly found his next point guard in Hogan.

Pearson is without question the leader of this team, and he played like it last night. He set the tone early, and was constantly aggressive throughout the game.
BEST STORY TO WATCH MOVING FORWARD
Osbourn continue to get better as the season winds down. After falling to Battlefield in their initial contest of the season, the Eagles have won each of the teams’ last two meetings. Both teams are very familiar with each other, and could probably meet again in districts.
