North Carolina won 107-56 in a game that was never close. “Every time I go there it just wows me. The fans, the coaches and the facilities are all great.” Moore said. This is the first time that Moore has been to Chapel Hill this season and plans on returning on Saturday for their game against Florida State.
Moore says that he is closest with Theo Pinson on the North Carolina team because they both played summer basketball with Team CP3 on the Nike EYBL circuit.
He has helped Cox Mill High School to a 11-5 record so far this season playing one of the toughest schedules in the state. He is averaging 23.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.2 blocks on the season. The sophomore has offers from Florida, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Charlotte, Tennessee, North Carolina State, Wake Forest and Georgia.
At 6-foot-5, Moore threatens defenses’ with his high basketball IQ, ball handling and being able to finish through contact at the rim. Moore has the ability to play multiple positions on the floor, has a high ability to run with floor with his length and can score the basketball in a variety of ways.
