Top Five Performances
- Minot State bound Jack Schaefer led New Rockford-Sheyenne to another win and did so scoring 34 points. Jack made three treys and did that rest blowing apart the opposing defense.
- The hot shooting hand of the night belonged to Brayden Uses Arrow who had six threes fall through and scored 29 points overall leading Solen.
- Beulah vs Hettinger –Scranton was one of the biggest games of the night with the Miners winning 73-66 on a very balanced performance. Six-foot-2 junior guard Derek Ferebee had 22 (including three triples) while Reece Hoherz scored 18.
- No Wyatt Carr? No problem! Freshman wing Isaac Doll scored 24 while senior Quentin Corcoran had 20 in the Hazen win against Mandaree.
- Jacob Hanson put up 25 points as top seeded Milnor/North Sargent beat the 8 seed BCN squad by 52.
- Logan Nelson had 27 in the Northern Cass win over Thompson.
Top Five – Class A
- Are Aanen Moody, Jordan Meidinger, and Dickinson ready for a state run? I would say so considering they defeated Century by 14 points. Moody had 26 while Meidinger had 20 and 16.
- WF Sheyenne won their fifth game in six tries only this team they beat a top five team in West Fargo. That’s a 5-3 record for the Mustangs who now get Fargo Davies on Friday. After that season opening loss to Fargo North the Mustangs have won five of seven and the only two losses they had came in overtime.
- Moving on without Austin Slaughter, the GFRR bunch beat Wahpeton 77-58 as they look to build up chemistry filling Slaughter’s production.
- Minot crossed the century mark scoring 102 points against Turtle Mountain.
- Bismarck defeated Mandan 78-70 at home.
Top Five – Still Rolling
- Carrington is still undefeated at 9-0 after beating up on Midkota. Ellendale and New Rockford-Sheyenne are previous victims of one of the hottest teams in state. Junior guard Garrett Bickett led the way with 28 and his name needs to start being mentioned a bit more when talking Class B standouts.
- The Solen Sioux improved to 6-1 with a 30 point win over Flasher. Brayden Uses Arrow scored 29 points to lead the way. With Solen having Jayce Archambault and Montel Carlow among others, they could get on a roll the rest of the month and head into the February 3rd Shiloh Christian game with a lot of excitement at their back.
- Don’t look know but the Wildfire is spreading again! Mott-Regent won five of their first six games before falling to Flasher. A win at Killdeer puts them back in the W column with a 6-2 record. Junior Tanner Zenter scored 16.
- The Rockets blasted off on a five game winning streak when they beat Dunseith and haven’t slowed down. The latest win was Warwick last night. New Rockford-Sheyenne was led by Jack Schaefer who is on his way to Minot State.
- Washburn won their fourth in five games taking out Center Stanton by 20. Senior guard Koby Hansen led with 21 points.

- Watford City got win one of the year when they nearly doubled up Tioga. Sophomore guard Jessen Homiston had 14 for the Wolves.
- Ending a four game losing streak was Standing Rock/Selfridge. The 15 point win over New Salem was highlighted by 17 from Reece Three Legs, a 6-foot-4 junior power forward.
- Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page picked up their second win of the season beating LLM by 19. Now they get undefeated Milnor/North Sargent on Friday.
- Beating the two seed, Griggs County Central earned their third win over the year against Enderlin. Senior power forward Rylan Briss scored 19.
