“Overall the season has been going pretty good,” Dedoch said. “We didn’t get off to a great start, but we’ve shown some improvement in the last few games. “
The Rockets are 5-3 on the season with five wins against teams south of the metro but three losses to metro area squads. The Rockets are undefeated in the Big Nine and don’t have too many challenges.
Dedoch Chan will have several chances to show what he can do. How has his game grown?
“As a senior, I’ve grown to be more disciplined and a better teammate. I’ve also learned how to handle adversity and to be consistent in whatever I’m trying to accomplish.”
Right now Chan is not certain about what he will do for college. He’s open to whomever is interested in him.
“I haven’t been getting much interest from schools,” Chan said. “There’s only been a few coaches that have texted me in the last few months.
“Nebraska-Omaha, Winona State, Southwest Minnesota State, and Sioux Falls are some of the schools who said they’d come watch me this season. I don’t have any plans for next year yet, just waiting to see if I get any offers.”
