Players to Watch
This game will feature many different players to watch, but if we are giving you just one from each it is Midwest City Combo Guard Keyshawn Embery and Putnam City West Guard Gerren Jackson. In big games Embery and Jackson tend to shine even brighter. Jackson is a smooth guard that handles the rock well, with a nice jumper, but is best at creating openings in the offense. Embery is a flat out scoring machine with the ball in his hands. Not to mention Embery plays extremely tough defense.
X-Factor
Putnam City West has a few X-Factor’s but none bigger than Wing Nick Robinson. He has a chance to really give Midwest City fits with his size and toughness around the rim. For the Bombers Josh Rivers has a chance to give them a huge boost. Rivers is a microwave at the Point Guard spot and also is vital in getting Midwest City in gear offensively. The player who shows up the biggest tonight could be the one that leads his team to a win.
Under the Radar
Each team has a player that has flown under the radar in the 2018 class. The Bombers 6’5 Wing Derrick Walter Jr. is dominating this season with his outside shot as one of the best in the state. Walter has a chance to be a Division I prospect. Greg Thomas has been on fire from three-point range this year. Thomas could change the game tonight if he can continue his scoring streak.
