Kentucky Associated Press Poll: Mon., Jan. 16
There is a new No. 1 team in the state as Bowling Green moves up two spots in the newest Kentucky Associated Press Poll, which was released Monday afternoon.
Following the Purples (15-2), who have won eight-straight is Trinity, a club that fell one spot in the new poll. Fern Creek jumped a spot from fourth to third while Scott County and Ballard both had 77 votes, knotting them at No. 6.
Christian County is the only group to remain in the same position as the Colonels sit in the seventh place for the second-straight week. Campbell County jumps up one position while so does Cooper, leaving defending state champion Paul Laurence Dunbar at No. 10.
The Bulldogs fell to Bowling Green in the State Farm Shootout at South Warren High School on Saturday, losing by a final score of 75-58.
