Rock Bridge vs. Park Hill South, 8:30 p.m.- These two teams will be battling for the championship of the North Kansas City Invitational Tournament. Many top 2019 standouts will be on display in this one. Rock Bridge features 6’6″ forward Isiaih Mosley and 6’3″ guard Jamonta Black while Park Hill South features young guards Lamel Robinson and Desi Williams. (Prediction: Park Hill South)
Lee’s Summit West vs. Lee’s Summit, 8:30 p.m. – The championship game of the Culver’s Classic will be on the line in this one. Lee’s Summit West is seeking its third tournament championship of the season. West battled by Hogan Prep in a entertaining semifinals game. The Titans will be taking on an improved Lee’s Summit team that is in a transition stage. (Prediction: Lee’s Summit West).
Scott County Central vs. East Prairie, 7:45 p.m. – The championship game of the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament will feature the top two seeds. No. 1 seed Scott County Central scored 91 points in their semifinal victory over Scott City as Deantrell Beard scored 38 points. The Braves run and press and score a lot of point. East Prairie, the No. 2 seed, advanced with a victory over Oran. 2019 point guard Derez Tipler is one of the top young point guards in the Southeast part of the state. (Prediction: Scott County Central).
Lee’s Summit North vs. St. Joe Central, 8:30 p.m. – These two teams will meet for the championship of the C.W. Stressman Tournament in Liberty. Lee’s Summit North defeated Rockhurst in the semifinals behind 16 points from 6’7″ 2018 forward Elijah Farr. 2018 guard Logan Jenkins can really shoot it for North. St. Joe Central is paced by its 1,000-point 2017 backcourt duo of Jaiden Bristol and Matt Austin. (Prediction: Lee’s Summit North)
Kickapoo at Nixa, 7 p.m. – Two of the top programs in the Ozark region will do battle once again, which should be another good one. Kickapoo is led by its 1-2 duo of 6’8″ Jared Ridder and 6’1″ Cameron Davis. Nixa has a strong unit led by 6’6″ senior Christian Bundy, 5’8″ senior point guard Seth Viebrock. (Prediction: Kickapoo)
Parkway West at Parkway Central, 7 p.m. – A battle of district rivals who have staged big games for many, many years. Parkway West is led by 6’8″ Yale commit Wyatt Yess while Central is built around the talents of 2018 guard Deandre Campbell. Parkway West won the first meeting last month at the Parkway Round Robin. (Prediction: Parkway Central)
Valley Park at Hancock, 6:30 p.m. – This is a matchup of two St. Louis area small schools that are enjoying excellent seasons with 11 wins each. Valley Park is led by talented 6’3″ 2019 guard Jeramy Shaw. Hancok is led by 2017 guard Antoine Williams and talented 6’4″ 2020 forward Sam Richardson, who averages 17 points a game. (Prediction: Valley Park).
