Noah Green – 2017 6’2 SG – West Washington – Green was really the only consistent offense that West Washington had in the game. He went 5/8 from the floor and added 5/6 from the charity stripe for 15 points. Green was solid playing 31 minutes and not having any turnovers when the team had 17.
Cooper Neese – 2017 6’4 SG – Cloverdale – This was the best game that I have seen this year from Neese. He didn’t force anything but maybe one or two shots and got his teammates involved a ton. He scored 18 first quarter points and even hit a shot from five feet inside halfcourt.
Jalen Moore – 2018 5’9 PG – Cloverdale – Moore played a very complete game going 12/23 from the floor and scoring in a multitude of ways. He made some deep threes and he also drove to the rim, took contact and scored. He’s a small school prospect that can score in different ways and he has pretty good court vision. Also had three steals and is super quick with his feet on defense.
Spencer Ballinger – 2018 6’5 SF – Oak Hill – Ballenger is a good non-D1 player as he can score and has a lot of skill but still needs to work on some things. He went 10/16 from the floor for 26 points but he wasn’t smooth with the ball leading to 10 turnovers. This is something he can work on and get better at as he becomes quicker with the ball.
Tyce Frank – 2018 6’4 G – Oak Hill – Oak Hill tried to get the ball in Frank’s hands as much as they could and for good reason. He had six assists and scored 16 points. He was the primary ball handler and handled the press pretty well. Still had five turnovers but it was against one of the higher pressure teams he’ll see all year.
Grant Smith – 2017 6’6 SF – Connersville – Smith was everything Connerville needed in the game. He finished with a triple-double scoring 17 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out 11 assists. It was one of the best performances of his career. He really handled the pressure well and didn’t let it get to him. Smith is a long lanky guard whose vision excels.
Beau Isaacs – 2017 6’4 PF – Connersville – Isaacs is a solid stretch four who can shoot the ball from deep. He has a little weight on him but he uses it was and is very mobile. Isaacs is a really good option for Connersville and also passes the ball really well. Has a bit of handles too breaking the press.
Noah Belt – 2019 6′ G – Connersville – Belt scored 20 points on 9/11 shooting. He led the team and all of his scoring came at the basket. He was able to slash through the defense and be in a great spot to receive the ball in the correct spots. A good performance that opened my eyes to the sophomore.
