There is some shake-up in this week’s installment of the 3A team rankings.

Check it out:

1. Colorado Springs Christian (5-0; Last week: 1)
Noah Hopkins, a 5-11 junior guard, averaged 17.5 points in wins over Canon City and The Vanguard School to help the Lions stay undefeated.

2. Resurrection Christian (7-0; LW: 2)
Two more double-digit wins over quality 3A teams in Lutheran and Faith Christian only provided further evidence that the Cougars are for real in their first season since jumping up from 2A.

3. Manitou Springs (7-0; LW: 3)
Senior Lucas Rodholm poured in 26 points in a gritty 54-48 victory over Kent Denver on Friday that helped keep the Mustangs’ unblemished record in tact.

4. Sterling (6-1; LW: 9)
The Tigers walloped previously No.5-ranked Manual to surge up the rankings. Bodie Hume, a 6-5 junior, has been averaging 15.3 points per game.

5. Alamosa (5-1; LW: 4)
The Maroons are on an extended break until they return to action on Jan. 6 against visiting Kent Denver.

6. Colorado Academy (5-3; LW: 6)
After losing to 5A Mullen (66-46) and 4A Thompson Valley (69-64), the Mustangs went on the road and scored an impressive 60-55 win over 5A Grand Junction. Credit Colorado Academy for testing itself against a tough schedule.

7. Faith Christian (5-2; LW: 7)
A 2-1 week for the Eagles included a convincing 55-35 victory over previously undefeated and 10th-ranked Frontier Academy.

8. Kent Denver (6-1; LW: unranked)
The Sun Devils scored a resounding 72-55 victory Thursday over DSST Stapleton, which had previously been ranked No. 8. A six-point loss to No. 3 Manitou Springs is the only blemish on Kent Denver’s schedule.

9. Strasburg (4-1; LW: unranked)
The Indians have won four straight games behind the play of 6-4 junior forward Brock Lane, who is averaging an eye-popping 16.8 points and 15.2 rebounds per game.

10. DSST Stapleton (4-3; LW: 8)
The Knights scored a victory over Manual last week before falling to Kent Denver. Blake Pullen, a 6-0 senior, is averaging 18.3 points and 7.9 rebounds.
