Chinou Vang, Hmong Academy — The Hmong Academy has had some lean years, including last season where it was ranked second-to-last in AA by QRF with just one win. Vang led the Academy to a 78-43 win over Groves Academy (their biggest in years) by scoring 28 points.
Nate Reuvers, Lakeville North — Monster stat line with 36 points, 15 rebounds and six blocks (Czar’s stats) in a large win over Rochester John Marshall.

Trae Berhow, Watertown-Mayer — Trae filled up the stat sheet at the Breakdown Tip-Off with 30 points and an astounding 25 rebounds to go with 7 assists against St. Charles. W-M is 3-0 so far.
