Region 11 is made up of Logan, Juan Diego, Ridgeline, Ben Lomond, Morgan and Bear River. This region is full of guard talent that can go off on any given night. There are too many good guards to list an honorable mention but there is plenty of guards that can score in Region 11.
- Jaxon Brenchley (Ridgeline) The 6’5 Combo Guard would be in any top 5 in the state. Jaxon has signed to play basketball at DI Utah University. His ability to bully his way to the basket is second to none. He has developed an even deadlier shot and he is the type of player that will do whatever it takes to win. Don’t be surprised if 1st year Ridgeline upsets a few teams with a player like Jaxon anything is possible.
- JD Ahlstrom (Juan Diego) The 6’1 Senior Guard should average 15 plus a game. He has a lot of players on his team that will allow to distribute, create and score. Coach Drew Trost does a fantastic job developing his guards to make the right plays. JD is an athlete that will be able to play at the next level.
- Jared Bagley (Logan) 6’1 G Has the keys to the team now with Rylan Jones transferring to Olympus. Last year Jared had a few monster games including a 27 point on five 3-pointers night. We could see a lot more of that from Jared this year. He is a mid DII and NAIA talent.
- Steven Price (Juan Diego) at 6’6 and a freak of an athlete senior Steven will attract some top JUCO programs. He has the ability to move without the ball well and he is always good for a nice poster dunk here and there. Don’t expect him to have out of this world numbers but he is definitely built to play at the next level in the right system.
- Ben Mendoza (Ben Lomond) The 6’2 G can really play at the next level. Last season he played through injury and averaged about 15 ppg. We look forward to seeing what he can do this year to help his team have success and that might mean a dip in ppg. Ben is a mid to low JUCO type of a player.
