White can shoot the ball, he has enough speed to keep defenders off of their feet, and can finish through contact at the rim. All these skills complemented with a long run in the tournament will push White’s name out there even more gaining him more college interest.
Thus far, White has been on unofficial visits to IPFW and Western Illinois and is going on an unofficial this weekend to Eastern Illinois. All the coaches that White has came in contact with have expressed similar reasons to like him.
“They all say that they love my ability to create for myself along with others and they also like my size.”
White’s ability to create off the bounce really helped him this summer running with the G3 Rising Stars. White had a good summer playing on one of the top teams in the state and then finished off the summer by winning a tournament in Las Vegas. All of the accolades that came with White’s success was supplemented by his work ethic this summer.
“I worked on my strength and my jump shot. I will continue to work on both because I feel like I can get to the basket at anytime because my handles are good. I feel that getting stronger will take me to the next level.”
This upcoming season will be solid for Tindley and White is looking to go out and prove himself to colleges that may have questions about his game. White is looking for a division one school that he can come into and make an immediate impact on.
