Throughout the high school basketball season we will recap the previous nights or weeks games with PrepHoopsIllinois Stat Center.  Take a look at the top performances from Friday and Saturday action.

 

Rockford Lutheran 2018 shooting guard Kenny Strawbridge goes for 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists against Galesburg.

 

St. Charles East 2018 small forward Justin Hardy hits game winning three to go with 27 points in the title game.

 

Edwardsville 2017 unsigned point guard Mark Smith had a monster weekend that concluded with a 37 point, 10 rebound, and 9 rebound performance in a win over Belleville Althoff.

 

North Lawndale 2017 shooting guard Carlos Hines had 29 points, 7 assists, 3 steals, and 5 rebounds on Friday.  He was named MVP of the Grant Thanksgiving Tournament.

 

St. Joseph’s 2018 small forward Joffari Brown continues to post numbers going for 14 points and 12 rebounds Saturday.

 

Illini Bluffs 2017 power forward Taylor Bruninga capped off his week for the ages with 38 points and 16 rebounds Friday.  Then had 33 points and 19 rebounds on Saturday.  Unreal first week.

 

Lincoln Way East 2018 wing Sam Shafer had 19 points against Rich South in a win.  He made the all-tournament team.

 

Belleville Althoff and SLU commit Jordan Goodwin continues to post monster numbers.  28 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists on Friday.  He had 32 points and 16 rebounds in a loss to Edwardsville Saturday.

 

Okawville 2017 shooting guard Noah Frederking passed the 2000 point mark for his career on Saturday.  The Evansville commit had 34 points.

 

Harvest Christian 2018 guard JJ Flores went for 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 4 assists on Saturday.

 

Harvest Christian 2019 point guard Andre White chipped in 18 points and 7 dimes in the same game at the TOC.

 

Hersey 2017 point guard Joey Coffaro had 17 points and 5 assists on Saturday in a win over Payton Prep.

 

Jacksonville 2017 power forward and Lewis commit Brandon McCombs continues his great start with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks followed by 10 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists.

 

Marshall 2017 point guard Josiah Wallace had 32 points against Salem Friday and 31 points on Saturday.

 

Mt. Carmel 2017 power forward Justin Carpenter had 17 points including four triples while fighting an illness in leading his team to a win.

 

Mt. Carmel 2018 post Jackson Marcotte scored 26 points in the same game.

 

Belleville Althoff  2017 small forward Marvin Bateman scored 22 points and grabbed 6 boards on Friday.

 

Larkin 2018 shooting guard Anthony Lynch had 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 dimes against Rockford Auburn.

 

Lincoln Way East 2017 small forward Dorian Aluyi posted a stat line of 25 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals against Plainfield South.

 

Monster week for Dwight 2017 wing Justin Fox.  The underrated prospect had 39 points, 11 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 assists against Momence.

 

Larkin 2018 post Jalen Shaw had 31 points against Rockford Guilford.

 

Lake Zurich 2018 shooting guard Ryan Kutsor had 14 points in title game at Johnsburg and was named tournament MVP.

 

Johnsburg 2019 point guard Zach Touissant had 27 points including a game winner.

 

Uplift 2018 small forward Toraze Dobbs had 17 points and 13 boards in a TOC championship win for Uplift.

 

Quincy Notre Dame 2017 forward Justin Bottorff posts 23 points and 11 rebounds against La Salette Academy.

 

Bolingbrook 2017 small forward Nana Akenten had 17 points in a Friday win.

 

York 2017 power forward Jordan Gray goes for 17 points on Friday.
