Mayan Kiir became the fourth commit for VCU Head Coach Will Wade on Monday when he committed to the Rams.
Joining Lavar Batts, Sean Mobley and Marcus Santos Silva, coach Wade is rolling in the recruiting world, and while it took him a bit to live up to Shaka Smart, he is sure doing a darn good job.
After speaking with multiple sources that cover VCU basketball, the general consensus is that Kiir will fill the role that Larry Sanders did when he was a member of a very successful squad for multiple years under coach Smart.
The 6-foot-11 big man out of Victory Rock is going to bring a significant rebounding edge to the table for VCU in the future, and his offensive game is only going to continue to improve.
Kiir chose VCU over NC State, LSU, Illinois and Louisville.
