Zac Rzewnicki to St. Thomas Aquinas
Ridgewood 2017 shooting guard Zac Rzewnicki tells PrepHoopsIllinois he has made his college decision. The senior wing has committed to St. Thomas Aquinas College in New York. He tells us why they were his choice.
“I loved the small town atmosphere and their love for basketball. I also loved the coaches approach to each player and how it is a winning program and have their sights set on a national championship.”
The Ridgewood two guard feels that his skill set will bring a dimension to the team that they need.
“They play a motion and with all their slashers I feel I can use my outside shooting to really help the team out. They didn’t shoot a lot from the outside in past seasons so I’m hoping I can spread the floor and open it up.”
The wing can score with ease as he is a good athlete and can shoot the ball from the perimeter. He will bring athleticism and scoring punch to his new home. Rzewnicki is the #21 shooting guard in the class of 2017 in Illinois.
