Thoughts: The J&C Hoops Classic has been around for over a decade and does a good job of bringing together some of the better talent from around the Tippecanoe County area. This season, you have quite a few really talented players in the senior class including Haden Deaton and Carter Taylor. McCutcheon should be one of the best teams in the state and their first true test will come in this tournament. Lafayette Jeff took them down in a barn burner last season for the Championship. This could be a true test early in the season for the Mavericks.
