The 2019 recruiting class that was present featured Josh Nickelberry, Joey Baker, Juwuan Gary and many more, it will interesting to watch how the Heels finish up the 2017 recruiting class with P.J Washington still available.
- Moore receives offer from Syracuse: Wendell Moore is the #1 ranked prospect in 2019 in the state and has quite a few offers to show for it, well we can add another one to the bunch as he picked up an offer from Syracuse recently. He’s a young sophomore and has a very high ceiling, so we can expect Wendell to continue to improve and more schools to bid for his services.
- Seegars chooses Asheville: Jalen Seegars verbally committed to UNC-Asheville this past weekend, this is a big time pickup for UNCA as Seegars is a high motor athlete that can jump out the gym. He is the type of player that as a coach, you love to have on your team because he will give it everything he has each night.
- Shuler picks Ole Miss: Devontae Shuler spent his summer with Team CP3 her in North Carolina on the EYBL circuit, after an impressive season and summer he made the choice to take his talents to Ole Miss. We truly expect Devontae to have a very successful career in the SEC, he is a lock down defender and has been battled tested this past season playing for Oak Hill.
- Carson Mccorkle & Jalen Cone getting interest early: The class of 2020 has some special talent in it as well, with the young stars already getting the attention of high major coaches. Cone and Mccorkle highlight this class so far with talent, it’s still very early but these two will be ones to watch closely as they continue to develop.
