At 6-foot-5 Tiedman is strong, laterally quick, agile, and has a motor that few can match. Because of this there are several programs interested in him at the next level.
“Eric was invited to Augustana and will be there on the 29th for a visit,” said Tiedman’s coach. “They invited him there this past summer for their elite camp and have been contacting him pretty much every week.
“Eric also has been in contact with St Cloud State and University of Nebraska-Omaha, and Cal Poly is visiting him this winter and told Coach Ben Wilde (of the Minnesota Fury) that they are going to recruit him strongly.
Eric has had D1 and D2 programs talking to him.
“University of Sioux Falls have been communicating with Eric the last 2 years, Winona State has said they are coming out to watch him as well,” said the coach.
Eric played soccer this year and scored two goals as a midfielder. Now that soccer is over Eric is ready to take some visits before basketball practice begins.
“These are just a few of the schools that are connecting with him. He is done with soccer now so his schedule should open up more for visits.”
