The 6’3 guard at Terre Haute South has made huge strides this past year with his overall game and that has shown with offers from Ball State, Indiana State, IUPUI, New Orleans, Valparaiso, and Western Illinois. We all can expect this list to grow by the time spring arrives.
Running with the G3 Rising Stars, Washington felt like he had a great summer both on and off the court. He performed well in front of many different coaches from all over the country and the coaches have a lot to like with this young man.
“They like how I am getting more aggressive on the offensive end and they also like how I love to play defense and how much my explosiveness increased this summer.”
Washington was hard at work over the summer making improvements on his game especially with his ball handling and his shooting. Hopefully for him these improvements will lead to helping his team reach his goals this winter.
“I am looking forward to winning a state championship this year, we have the team to do it. I am also looking forward to getting my thousandth point and I want to be on the All-State team.”
Washington will garner more and more looks as he completes this season and even into next spring. Knowing this, Washington has a slight idea in what he is looking for in a future school.
“I want a school and a program that fits me and my capabilities.”
