Hopkins has offers from Ball State, New Orleans, and Tampa and is planning to start taking visits soon. All this stemmed from a solid summer he had running with Indiana Elite.
“It went great. I felt like I got much better and my recruiting went great too.”
The coaches noticed his improvement as they complimented him on how he attacks the basket and finishes at the rim. They also have commented on how he plays defense and how he stays moving around.
This winter he is looking forward to the upcoming season for many reasons. Both because of the work he has done over the summer on the basketball side of things and that leadership role he will take on this season.
“I worked on finishing at the basket and shooting off the dribble but I also worked on my jump shot and explosiveness. I am looking forward to being a better leader for my team on and off the court.”
Hopkins is looking to have a big senior year and he should be in prime position to take control his team and lead them to Banker’s Life. Hopkins also is looking for colleges to come along that he sees himself a good fit for.
