Looking for a sniper from 3-point territory? Look no further then Westerville North’s Julius Brown (2018). Brown is a guard who has undeniable range and a ton of control with the rock.
The rising junior may not have any looks from any college programs quite yet, but if his game continues to be a threat for any opponent, that will change.
Brown stands at 5-foot-10, and is listed as a shooting guard, but his precision passing and speed will move him into a point guard role in no time. He understands that there is always room for improvement, and over the spring and summer he focused in on a couple areas of his game, along with playing for the King James Ohio Varsity squad in the AAU circuit.
“I have been working on my ability to attack the basket,” Brown said. “My left hand and my floater have also been a focus of mine.”

Brown is optimistic about Westerville North’s upcoming season, but says that they will need to give it their all every time they step on the hardwood. Without size in the paint they will need to rely on their speed and guard play. The Warriors also have a solid amount of players returning from last year, putting experience on their side.
“We have four upper classmen, and then the rest are juniors and sophomores,” Brown mentioned.
Brown is a hungry player that is looking for any opportunity he can get for college basketball in the future. Watch out for him and the Westerville North Warriors to turn some heads in 2016-2017.
