6th REGION
State Contender: Fern Creek (24th District)
Fern Creek has the most overall talent in the 6th region. 6’5 Chance Moore transferred from Louisville Eastern and brings along with him his stats of 13 points and 5 rebounds per game. Fern Creek returns junior point guard Anthony Wales who can both distribute and score, as well as Ahmed Price, a 6’3 wing capable of making Fern Creek one of the deadliest perimeter teams in the state with Moore and Wales.
NEXT TO CONTEND:
Pleasure Ridge Park will have Fern Creek transfer and top junior guard Trey Hill to help them compete in the 6th region as well as returning leading scorer Bryant Robinson, who averaged 13 points and 6 rebounds last year.
Doss returns arguably one of the state’s most underrated players in senior Jaylon Hall. Jaylon is receiving interest from many D1 schools but still remains to fly under some people’s radar. Don’t sleep on Doss. The Dragons are always a sleeping giant waiting to be awakened. Head Coach Tony Williams finds a way to get his team fired up and prepared come region time. Doss made it to the state tournament championship game last season.
