Jameel Alausa (Chicago U-High – 2017)
Athletic and versatile forward will do a little bit of everything for U-High. He is the #2 senior power forward and is primed to make his name on the high school basketball scene.
Taylor Bruninga (Illini Bluffs – 2017)
With the ability Bruninga showed this summer to beat a defense both inside and out we see him as one of the better posts in central Illinois. Mismatch with his shooting ability.
Lenell Henry (Morgan Park – 2017)
Henry will be the top senior post player for the Mustangs. Look for him to run the floor, rebound, and block shots. Sneaky scorer.
Logan Windeler (Lincoln Way West – 2017)
Windeler will team up with Marco Pettinato in hopes to make it back to Peoria. Skilled four man that will play on a bigger stage.
Nathan Scott (Neuqua Valley – 2017)
Scott put his name on the radar in July. Can the rangy forward continue that as a senior?
Messiah Jones (Simeon – 2018)
Jones is the top power forward in the 2018 class. This is his time to step into the spotlight in the front court for the Wolverines.
Tyree & Treavon Martin (Curie – 2018)
Martin twins at 6’8” made some impacts as sophomores. They are going to be big parts of what Curie does especially on the glass and protecting the rim in 2016-2017.
Tamell Pearson (Morgan Park – 2018)
Broad shouldered post that has potential. Size at 6’8” to be a presence in the paint for the state power.
Jalen Shaw (Larkin – 2018)
While Christian Negron gets all the pub as he rightly deserves this 6’8” lanky post is slowly coming along. Should have a bigger role as a junior and compliments Negron well.
Blake Weiss (Mascoutah – 2018)
Skilled four man that can beat a defense from mid-range and in.
Karl Wright (Springfield Lanphier – 2019)
Bouncy forward saw limited minutes as a freshman. Should see a bigger role as a sophomore for the central Illinois powerhouse with his rebounding and shot blocking.
