This month Adrian Nelson (2018) and Sterling Manley (2017), of both the VCC Warriors and Pickerington Central High School Tigers, continually pick up offers and demonstrate exceptional potential for college scouts.
A year closer to college, Manley’s trajectory is particularly impressive. He is blowing up in a big way.
“DEFINITELY STERLING IS,” said VCC Assistant Coach. “He has offers from Purdue, Xavier, West Virginia, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, and eight others. Interest from Syracuse.”
Manley earned Mizzou and Tennessee offers Wednesday, after his workout for their coaches.
“Tennessee is now recruiting Adrian Nelson,” shared VCC source. “It’s going to all come together this year. He is on the cusp.”
Because each young man suffered an injury last year their exposure is lagging behind peers.
Weekend Travels
Sterling Manley is taking an unofficial Saturday to Purdue.
The Boilermakers offered him less than two weeks ago. If Manley were to select PU, ample playing would be available when he arrives. The only two prominent bigs in the program are Caleb Swanigan (NBA-bound) and center Isaac Haas.
At Purdue, Manley would likely start Day One. Also, Purdue is in the midst of a modest upswing.
Adrian Nelson, Guy Schmidt and Justin Curtis are all invited and will be attending the Tennessee vs. Florida football game/unofficial this Saturday.
Football in Neyland Stadium is staggering, jarring. Few stadiums for any sport are as massive or wild.
Monday Air Force is stopping by to evaluate Adrian Nelson, Solomon Pierre Louis and Justin Curtis on Monday.
