Emmanuel Akot (SF Washington, 6-7, 2018). A long player who is entering his junior year, Akot is raw but there is some potential there and we are looking forward to seeing what he can do this weekend.
John Chol (SF Washington, 6-8, 2018). Another long post from Washington that is quite raw but at the camp to show his potential and how much his talent has grown. He and Akot were on the younger Washington squads last year.
Carter Kosiak (SF O’Gorman, 6-7, 2017). A 6-foot-6, 6-foot-7 big that spent his younger years flashing double-doubles on the Knights young squads as well as the JV. Now it’s his time to step forward for the Knights after doing some solid things a year ago.
Jake Friedrich (Tea Area, 6-5, 2018). Jake had some big games on the glass as a sophomore for the Titans and was one of the bigs on the PBC National team at the 16U level last spring/summer.
Joshua Kihle (Burke Central, 6-8, 2018). A mountain of a post who has good hands and good footwork that led to a constant double-double as a sophomore. Had a nice summer with the Phenom and is at the camp to show schools what he can do and to prove he belongs with the best bigs in the Midwest.
Jagger Miller (Devils Lake, 6-5, 2018). Miller played some minutes on varsity last year and was the only sophomore in the Firebird program who was moved up a year ago. Big season for him and he’s getting a jumpstart at the Expo.
Ryan Wieneke (Adrian, 6-5, 2018). Played on the Dragon varsity last year as a sophomore and got better with every game. Played well this summer in AAU and it will be interesting to see his growth this weekend.
Ty Setness (Fargo Davies, 6-6, 2017). Came off the Eagle bench last year and gave the five points and four rebounds shooting a solid 57 percent from the field and 66 percent from the foul line. Played a big role for the D-17s locally and in Grassroots events, has taken big steps.
Matt Thompson (West Fargo, 6-4, 2017). A tough guy from the Packers who can mix it up with the best. Played in half of the varsity games last year as a worker and is getting ready for a big role as a senior.
