The 6-foot junior picked up four offers during his 16U campaign with King James; Toledo, Stony Brook, Kent State and Akron.
“Kent State offered first, and then Toledo was the most recent,” said Hill, who mentioned Ohio, Wright State and Xavier as teams that may be next to offer.
Hill has visited Akron, Toledo and Kent State, and says he will be visiting Ohio. He mentioned what his goals were with his recruiting process.
“With my recruitment I’d like to get some high-major D1 offers,” he said. “And I just know I need to keep my grades up.”
A true point guard, who is able to score and set teammates up, Hill defined his playing style to PHOH.
“I describe my strengths as getting my teammates involved, and shooting the ball well,” said Hill. “And I’ve been trying to improve on my strength and conditioning, and my playmaking ability.”
As he heads into his third season as the starting point guard with Cleveland Heights, Hill says leadership will become a priority for him.
“This year I’m looked at more as a leader, and I’ll have to lead by example. And I really can’t take any plays off because my younger teammates are looking up to me,” he said.
“I just want to be better than I was last year.”
