He put up 18.2 points per game last year including 24 against Wisconsin bound Brad Davison and Maple Grove (three score loss), 24 against Dayton bound Champlin Park guard McKinley Wright (two score loss), and 27 against undefeated Osseo.
Kamara continues to prove that he can compete against the best talent in Minnesota and it wasn’t just in the high school season. Losini also had a fantastic game against the Minnesota Fury last April playing with the New York Lightning.
Kamara didn’t spent much time playing AAU last spring and summer but he still has schools showing interest.
“Six-foot-3 point guard Losini Kamara, Park Center’s leading scorer, rebounder and assist man,” said Coach James Ware. “Kamara was visited last week by Santa Clara, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, South Dakota, and Nebraska Omaha.
“Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Niagara, North Colorado, and Winona State will also be in this week. Losini has heard from a wide variety of schools including Baylor and Missouri.”
Kamara earned offers from Iona and Sacred Heart as a sophomore at Long Island Lutheran High in Brookville, New York. He had a great junior year and should have a strong senior season.
“Losini averaged 18 points, six rebounds, and five assists as a junior taking Park Center from eight wins in 2015 to 17 wins in 2016 and a very competitive section playoff run,” said Ware.
Kamara is one of the top unsigned talents in the state of Minnesota and here is his Hudl video.
