“The visit was great I loved the campus,” said Embery. “The campus was great during game day. They show a lot of love.”
The support the Arkansas fans showed their team stood out to Embery. He was impressed to say the least.
“A lot of people get out there for game day,” said Embery. “The fans come early to show their support. I loved seeing the strong fan support for Arkansas.”
Coaching staff’s are vital in the recruiting process of a player. Often times players base a good percentage of their decision on what school to attend on the coaching staff. Embery has connected with the Arkansas staff and enjoyed being in their company throughout the weekend.
“The coaching staff was great during my visit,” said Embery. “I would love to communicate and continue to build a relationship with them. I can also relate to them.”
The recruitment of Embery is just beginning with still a little over a year before things start to heat up. Embery is an intriguing combo guard that excels at driving the ball to the hoop. He is one of the top defenders at the one or the two in the 2018 Class. Embery is the only Oklahoma 2018 prospect that is ranked nationally.
This past summer Embery was elected to the Under Armour All-American camp in Charlotte, North Carolina. Embery reports offers from Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Kansas State and UNLV. Embery is entering his junior season at Midwest City still in search of a Class 6A State Tournament appearance. From the looks of his play this summer Embery is motivated to push the Bombers to new heights this season.
