Morrison spent his underclassmen years as one of the more dangerous three-point shooters in Class B basketball and then last year moved over to the point position and allowed White River to keep rolling as one of the state’s elite teams.
White River spent a lot of time getting better together at summer events.
“My summer was awesome,” said Morrison. “Our team went to a lot of tournaments this summer. And myself, I worked on my game in the gym and went to a few camps around the state.”
Morrison and his team feel like they can get back to state and once there, they are looking for all the gold.
“My goal for this year is to win a State B Championship. Our team needs to understand roles and get better every single game.”
Morrison will play college sports as well. He was runner-up in the state class B golf championships last year and of course college basketball coaches are calling.
“Dakota Wesleyan is calling me the most right now,” said Morrison. “I plan on visiting Black Hills State and Dakota Wesleyan soon.”
