“I chose Belmont because there was a lot of mutual faith between me and Coach Byrd,” Bradshaw said. “He believes in me as far as how I can help them continue winning, get to the Big Dance and how I can continue to develop as a player.
“I fit in pretty well, honestly. They only recruit certain types of players, and I just fit their needs. High IQ, extremely versatile, competitive, great passer, and not just a great teammate overall, but guys with great character traits.”
The 6-foot-6 small forward out of Russellville High School in Russellville, Ky. averaged 21.1 points and 12.2 rebounds per game as a junior with the Panthers, who barely fell to Russell County in the First Round of the 4th Region Tournament last season.
Bradshaw chose the Bruins from a list of his final four – which he released early Thursday morning – which included them, Eastern Kentucky, Long Beach State and UNC-Wilmington.
“I chose each of the final four because I felt as though those were the schools that would help me develop the most as not only a basketball player, but an overall man,” Bradshaw stated.
