“My top experiences with the Fury were for sure traveling with my team and family,” said Hanson. “The places we were able to go to was a huge blessing and it really allowed me to see different cultures on and off the court.
“With the different styles of play, it expanded my game and forced me to become more well-rounded as a player.”
Hanson helped the Fury to a 35-10 record this year after leading Chaska to 21 wins as a junior when he averaged 24.1 points per game. Hanson and multi-offered Andrew Kallman return for the Hawks. So what is their fall plan?
“Just working out individually and as a team,” Myles said. “Getting shots up, getting to the gym, hitting the weights and just becoming stronger players and building the body.”
Hanson has five division one programs he’s talking to the most right now.
“The three Ivy League schools I went to visit this weekend, Cornell, Columbia and Brown are showing me a lot of interest, as well as Drake and Pepperdine.”
Hanson just returned from an East Coast Ivy League tour of schools and the trip went great.
“This weekend was awesome and I enjoyed my time at each school,” Myles said. “I liked them because they were so different and had their own feel. The education at each university is unbelievable and the coaching staffs and members of the athletic facilities were awesome as well.”
Hanson has three more visits he would like to take before he makes a decision.
“I will take an official visit to Pepperdine and Drake this fall and we are in the process of setting up an official visit back to Columbia,” Hanson stated.
