ECI Selects won 19 games and played much better than anybody expected. Montel led the way and had a memorable time.
“It was a crazy experience because I’ve never played at that level before,” Montel said. “I was happy because I was able to be a part of that team.
“It made me a better basketball player, because it really helped me become a better teammate and it helped me become a better defender. I also learned a lot about the game all because of that experience.”
That all around knowledge gain will led him into a big Class B season with teammate Brayden Uses Arrow who will give this team a fantastic 1-2 punch.
“I plan on setting an example for my team, and motivating my teammates to get in the gym and work hard,” Carlow said.
The Solen Sioux won 15 of 21 games last year and they should be even better this winter.
“I’m hearing most from the Northland Lumberjacks so far,” said Carlow. “I don’t have anything planned for visiting colleges, because I’ve been busy with sports (football).
“I would like to visit the University of Minnesota, North Dakota State University, and Black Hills State University.”
