“I’m strongly considering MIT, University of Chicago, Cornell, and South Dakota School of Mines,” Isaac told PHD.
“I would like to visit those schools, but currently nothing is planned. I have visited South Dakota School of Mines.”
Isaac didn’t play much AAU basketball in the spring or summer but he did compete with his high school team that made the final four of the Vegas Live event the second week of the opener period and Isaac played well.
Other than that Isaac has spent time working at his school and area facilities.
“Some of the things that I did to improve were traveling in order to play against good competition from across the nation, lifting, and just getting in the gym for a workout,” Isaac said.
“We will have a lot of open gyms and I will be lifting and working on agility this fall.”
Isaac now lists at 6-foot-8 and a strong and agile 235 pounds. This past winter Isaac was named third team all state in Class A for the Cavs who earned second place at state last March.
