Coulter played with his high school teammates regularly and played with BBA Force.
“My top experiences were for sure playing against high talent and playing at bigger tournaments,” Carson told PHD.
“It made me better because it showed there is a lot of better players out there and pushed me to work harder.”
The kids at Lincoln are in a fun position that also brings pressure. For the second straight year a senior class led the way to a title but the difference last winter was that a younger player, Carson, contributed. But now Coulter has a huge role.
“For myself I’m really going to focus on getting in the weight room and getting stronger and as for the team,” Carson said. “We are just going to try and get together as much as possible and push each other in open gyms.”
Coulter has the talent to play point guard in college and a couple schools are showing consistent interest. Several have called but two are in regular contact.
“Crown College and Nebraska Wesleyan have showed the most interest so far,” said Coulter. “And other division two and NAIA colleges have contacted me but not as avidly as those two.
“No visits are planned or set in stone as of now, but I’ve talked with the coaches about going to see the campus in the fall when school starts but no exact date yet.
“I’m open to visit any college that has interest in me, nowhere exactly I’d prefer to visit at this moment.”
