Continue ReadingOver the course of the next few months, campus visits will be a big part of the recruiting landscape. College coaches are back on campus and locked in on their top tier targets. They will be looking to get more face-to-face time with them while the basketball season takes a back seat to football. Here are a few of the latest visit updates from the past week.
Hayden Smithey (Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger | 2019) – The 6’4 guard out of Fort Wayne (IN) will be heading across the state line to visit Central Michigan on September 17th. Smithey had a big summer with Spiece Indy Heat as he was one of the biggest developers over the last few months of play.
Kris Wilkes (North Central | 2017) – Wilkes is one of the elite players in the country and over the past few weeks he has been putting together a visit schedule. The latest addition is an official visit to UConn from November 4th through 6th. He already has official visits set up for Illinois (9/11) and Indiana (9/30) with an in-home visit with Xavier (9/13)
Kobe Webster (Park Tudor | 2017) – The 6’0 guard is one of the top point guards in the state and this past weekend he took a visit to MAAC school, Marist. Webster had a resurgent summer with Pocket City Basketball. He currently has a pair of offers from Ball State and Wetsern Illinois.
Keegan Fetters (Lakewood Park | 2017) – Fetters has been one of the more traveled prospects in the state. This past Friday he took a visit to DII, Wheeling Jesuit. He also picked up an offer from IU-South Bend this past week. Before that he took a visit to Mount Vernon Nazarene about two weeks ago.
