Marco Pettinato to Lewis
One day after Young Legends big man Cameron Krutwig made his decision it was time for one of their sharp shooters in Lincoln Way West 2017 shooting guard Marco Pettinato to make his college choice. Pettinato has informed us he has committed to play at Lewis next season. He told us why they were his choice.
“They never faulted on me. They always stood by me and they recruited me based on the player I believe I am. I love the competitive conference and the high academic aspect. And I love the coaching staff. I am excited!”
He talked about what he feels he will bring to the table for his new team.
“A competitive spirit, a proven winner, and someone who will do what it takes to win games. A player committed to the process and ready to prove I can play at a high level.”
Pettinato is coming off a monster junior season where he led his team to the state championship game. He is a tough and gritty shooting guard that has a stocky body. Crafty with the ball in his hands. What he is best at is letting if fly from deep as he is an outstanding perimeter shooter that moves well without the ball to get open and set up his shot.
Great pick up for Lewis and very nice fit for the Lincoln Way West guard!
