It might not necessarily always be the highest rated prospect in the program either although it very well could be.
The All-In/Young & Reckless program has become one of the fastest rising grassroots programs in the state. It has tons of D1 talent at all levels. The player that made the biggest jump in his game this spring and summer for them was Joliet West 2017 point guard Teyvion Kirk earning him MVP honors.
Kirk is a rangy 6’3” guard from Joliet West High School. As a junior he played a key role in leading his high school team to a trip to Peoria and the state’s final four. He didn’t rest on his accomplishments as Kirk went out and put together a dominant spring with All-In/Young & Reckless. He did it on both ends of the floor in a number of ways. Played the lead guard position getting his quality weapons the ball in their positions that they do the most damage. Scoring he got buckets from all three levels, but was particularly effective drilling pull up jumpers from 15-18 feet all over the inside of the arc. Defensively Kirk is a pressure on ball defender that uses his length and athleticism to be a tough on ball defender.
Congrats to Teyvion on winning the All-In/Young & Reckless Program MVP award!
