Grassroots First Person: Jets/Ramey United

In our “First Person Grassroots Recap” series we take a look at how the travel team season went for one our state’s programs.   This recap we profile the Jet/Ramey United 17U program along with their 16U Southwest Jets team with Andre McMurray.   17U Jets Ramey United Record: 33-12 Finished 7-3 in the Adidas Gauntlet Silver   Key wins: Iowa Barnstormers, EYBL Blake Griffin   Standout Performers: Javon Pickett - The ultimate Jet and finished the summer really strong and can score at all three levels of the game. Collin Stallworth- High level rebounder with the most upside in our program. Destan Williams- All i can say is the heart of a Lion!!! Mark Smith- No player on the circuit was hotter than Mark Smith in July!!!   16U Southwest IL Jets Record:   30-14 Championships:   NY2LA Summer Jam Gold   Key Wins:   Ontario Select, Missouri Hustle   Standout Performers: Cameron Williams-  No kid in our program developed more than Cam!! Strong and athletic also has a motor second to none. Malachi Smith- This kid reminds me so much of Javon Pickett and is a flatout scorer!!! Kevin Caldwell Jr.-  Slick electric Pg.
