Kaleb Carter | Colgan ’18
6-foot-3 wing Kaleb Carter will transfer from Osbourn Park to Colgan, a brand new school in Prince William County, this upcoming season. Carter will likely see a major two-way role for Jason John, who won back-to-back state championships during his tenure at Colonial Forge.
Deshawn Coakley-Carroll | Christ Chapel ’18
Former Hylton guard Deshawn Coakley-Carroll has reclassified into 2018 and transferred to Christ Chapel Academy in Woodbridge. Coakley, who played grassroots ball this summer with Higher Level Elite, could earn a primary role for the Lions as a scorer and playmaker.
DeArvae Heard | Miller School ’19
One of the most promising rising sophomores in Virginia, DeArvae Heard, has transferred from Greenbrier Christian to the Miller School of Albemarle. At 6-foot-3, Heard will be asked to lock down opponents on the perimeter. The Boo Williams AAU product could also provide some offense for the Mavericks, given his solid middle game and developing perimeter jump shot.
Daniel Malinowski | John Champe ’18
Champe graduates their entire front court from last season, so the addition of 6-foot-7 big man Daniel Malinowski from Paul VI will be a welcome one. Malinowski will look to step in right away and fortify the interior on both ends of the floor for Knights Head Coach Bill Maher.
Tim Montogmery | Atlantic Shores ’19
One of the most talented rising sophomore point guards in the 757, Tim Montgomery, will transfer from Princess Anne to Atlantic Shores. Montgomery, who helped lead the Cavaliers to a strong campaign last year, will probably step in right away and assume the starting lead guard role.
