Hunter Bailey | Miller School ’18
6-foot-6 wing Hunter Bailey will transfer from John Paul the Great to the Miller School this season. Bailey, who plays grassroots basketball with VA Elite, will bring size and the ability to stretch the floor and rebound on the wing for Mavericks Head Coach Danny Manuel this season.
Kyle Foster | Peninsula Catholic ’17
6-foot-4 shooting guard Kyle Foster, who’s committed to play college basketball at Howard University, will return to Peninsula Catholic after playing his junior season at Bethel. Foster, who is considered one of the top shooters in Virginia, will finish out his high school career in the place where it began.
Ayush Mayur | Middleburg Academy ’18
Another one of Virginia’s top three point marksmen, Ayush Mayur, has decided to transfer from Rock Ridge to Middleburg Academy. Mayur, who should be the most dangerous long range threat for the Dragons this season, should be able to thrive and continue to develop his skills in a more natural role on the wing.
Billy Preston | Oak Hill Academy ’17
One of the top overall prospects in the nation, Billy Preston, has transferred from API to join defending National Champions Oak Hill Academy. The versatile 6-foot-10 power forward, who has claimed the top spot in Vantage Hoops 2017 rankings, will step in right away and command the interior for the Warriors.
Jordan White | Christ Chapel ’18
6-foot-2 shooting guard Jordan White, who ran on the grassroots circuit with Higher Level Premier, has reclassified into 2018 and transferred to Christ Chapel Academy. White, who is a very efficient shooter from the perimeter, will probably see big minutes on the wing for the Lions.
