This team was fun to watch and they have kids that can play. This wasn’t a group that was without skill but having it and playing hard is something that others would do well to emulate. With guys like Brock Bizeau, Rylan Detling, Tyreese Nibbs, and Kayden Key, they were a group that found quite a bit of success and seemed to do it right.
Best Player: Plainfield forward Brock Bizeau looks very similar to his older brother Gavin but they play quite a bit differently. Gavin is sprouting up and playing more on the wing, Brock is more of a forward although shorter and a little bit more comfortable in his body. He was great when I was in the gym to see him and should be a top player in the class moving forward. He still could grow quite a bit more because he’s only 6’5 right now. A ton of upside and talent to play right now.
Players To Watch: I absolutely fell in love with Ben Davis guard Tyreese Nibbs this summer. He’s tall but really thin and while fragility might be a concern, he sure doesn’t let that stop him now. He’s 6’1, handles the ball, and is lightning quick. Nibbs can be a guy that gets some looks early on even though he might not play Varsity for a while because BD is loaded with guards for this upcoming season.
