Isaiah Todd 6’8- John Marshall High School
Todd showed off a well-developed skill set that looked above his years, proving there is much more to his upside than just height. He often stepped out to the wing, where he was able to break down his man or use a smooth jumper to shoot over smaller defenders. The 6’8 forward looked even better in the transition game where his athleticism was highlighted as he rose up to throw down some big time flushes.
Levar Allen 6’2 – John Marshall High School
The crafty guard displayed a knack for putting the ball in the basket and the toughness to go at any defender. He attacked at every opportunity and thrived on contact as he muscled his way though the paint to finish over the frontcourt players. When he wasn’t scoring, Allen was drawing attention from the help side and then threading the passing lanes to find open cutters for easy layups.
Tim Coward 6’1 – Hermitage High School
Coward set himself apart with a tight handle and explosive moves that opposing defenders struggled to stay in front of. Working from the top of the key he looked comfortable against ball pressure and sped past anyone who pushed up to far. Constantly getting into key he read the bigs well, never trying to force any poor shots but instead mixing in a variety of pull-ups and runners to capitalize on the opportunities.
Derick Redmon 6’2 – LCA
Redmon was a nightmare for the opposing teams as he sprinted through every cut and hustled on every closeout. The scrappy guard displayed one of the highest motors in the camp and paired with his athleticism, he was particularly dangerous in the open court. Even when the ball slowed in the half court offense, Redmon still kept his pace and was able to blow by defenders on multiple occasions for easy scores at the rim.
Armando Bacot 6’8 – Trinity Episcopal School
Bacot dominated the paint on both ends of the floor with tough and aggressive play throughout the camp. Using good footwork and strength to his advantage, he powered his way to the rim for a multitude of tough dunks in traffic. As the day went on, he blended in some impressive low post moves and showed off a soft touch near the rim. On the other side of the ball, the big man stepped up as rim protector by chasing down shots and making guards think twice before going the cup.
