Plus defensive rebounder that high points the ball with his great length. He has got stronger in his upper body over the last few months. Offensively is pretty raw in the post beyond catching quick passes for dunks. Can knock down a 15-18 foot jumper on occasion. Definitely has D1 potential.
Martin stepped into a bigger spotlight as a sophomore at Curie.
“I bigger role. Last year I got my feet wet, but this year I was with the starting five most of the season. I had to man up at state. I was the youngest of the starting five. I knew they were physically tougher than me, but I knew I could use my speed and length.”
The 2018 prospect spoke about his game.
“I like working the mid-range game. I model my game after LaMarcus Aldridge. On the block with jump hook, drop step type guy, offensive rebounder. Vocal on defense and somebody that mans up when nobody is talking.”
DePaul and SMU are a pair of programs that have expressed early interest.
