“It’s been really good,” Wilson told PHI last week while playing for Kingdom Hoops at NY2LA’s Summer Jam. “I’ve played against a lot of competition, and have been able to showcase my talents.
“I think I’ve played well.”
As such, the 6-foot-6 Class of 2017 prospect has been hearing consistently from college recruiters.
“South Dakota, Southwest Minnesota State, Sioux Falls, Wayne State and a couple more,” he said.
Wilson said he’s prioritizing proximity to home when evaluating his college options, which he hopes will broaden once the evaluation periods come to a close.
“After this live period, I’m looking at getting more calls and more interest,” he said.
He’ll also spend the duration of the summer trying to refine his game heading into his senior season.
“My ballhandling and my shooting,” he said, “being able to be more of a threat on offense.”
