2019 Team Griffin Point Guard Jake Banfield
Banfield is a lighting fast point guard who has a quick change of speed. He does a great job of using that change of pace to blow past defenders and distribute. Although he is primarily a facilitator, Banfield averaged 12 points throughout pool play and has shown that he can get of his own shot in the midrange and from deep.
2019 Oklahoma Run PWP Red Power Forward Seth Hurd
Hurd has continually shown improvement throughout the summer. He has improved on the glass and making smart decisions with the bal. Hurd’s offensive game has blossomed into low block post ups and finishing over either shoulder. His raw athletic potential has slowly turned into a fundamentally post game
2019 Oklahoma Dream Elite Point Guard Zadok Martin
Martin has superb athletic ability and uses it to speed up the teams tempo. He can get downhill off screens and create rotating problems for defenses. His athleticism also allows him to hang in the air and finish at the rim. Martin has averaged 10 points throughout the tournament.
2019 Oklahoma Wolfpack Forward Antonio Gordon
Gordon was a big time presence in the post for the Wolfpack. His size and length made it easy for him him to finish over the top of smaller opponents. The fade away jumper was falling for Gordon and he finished well with the jump hook in the post. Gordon finished with 29 points against Dream Elite.
2019 Oklahoma Run PWP Shooting Guard Peyton Roberson
Roberson was hindered by injury in his second game but was unstoppable in his first outing. He scored 21 points in a victory over the Royals. He is a form shooter who can light it up from beyond the arc. His quick pull up allows him to put the ball on the floor once or twice and hit from midrange.
2019 Oklahoma Dream Elite Shooting Guard Shelby Sampleton
Sampleton is a lengthy guard with decent size at 6’2”. Sunday he proved that he can shoot it amongst the be best of them. Sampleton knocked down five triples to open bracket play. He has been solid all throughout the tournament averaging 11 points per game.
