So lets begin with a few who absolutely torched the nets during their Junior Years as well as this past summer….
Michael Hueitt Jr. C/O 2017 Team CP3: Arguably the best shooter in the country, Hueitt is an outstanding shooter from the perimeter especially off the catch, this past season he helped lead HPCA to the NCISAA 3A state championship game. He Has a nice long wingspan mixed in with his height at 6’3 that allows him to get his shot off without being blocked too often, due to his stellar shooting during this season he was awarded his 1,000 point ball. Also he put on some very impressive shooting performances this summer during EYBL play which led him to lead the league in 3Pt field goals made. Receiving an offer the summer prior to his sophomore year, coaches have had him on their radar for a while and at this point has received over 15 scholarship offers from D1 schools.
Zach Hobbs C/O 2017 Northside HS: If you live on the east side of the state, you have most likely heard of Zach already, he has been playing varsity since his freshman year and reached 1,000 career points during his Junior campaign. He’s very efficient off the catch , but also can knock down shots off the dribble, throughout the season he had numerous games where he knocked down more than 6 treys. His recruitment has been very quiet up to this point but D2 schools should definitely be stopping in to see him this season.
Wes Morgan C/O 2017 Ardrey Kell: Another player that has good height and length for a wing, at 6’6 with a nice wingspan he has the type of body that you love for a SG. Just like the previous player’s he is outstanding in catch and shoot situations but can knock down shots off the dribble if need be. He’s always prepared to shoot and doesn’t make extra unnecessary movements, which allows him to get his shot up quickly and in one motion. Has committed to the University of North Florida after receiving multiple D1 offers.
