MVP- DeAndre Ayton-California Supreme
Ayton led the Cal Supreme to the semi-finals of the Peach Jam where he played the best competition in the country and was an animal on both ends of the floor, he scored the ball from all over, dominated inside on the glass and protecting the rim. Truly a special future pro. He also narrowed his list down to his final 3 for recruiting.
Other notable prospects:
Colten Kresl-PowerHouse Hoops-2017
No fear shooter, won’t back down to anyone, no matter their size or skill set, he will make you pay if you don’t respect his game. Kresl was a stud in the Elite 100 event.
Trent Brown-AZ Prospects-2019
Brown, a very high IQ’d player, tremendous shooter. One of the best shooters at the event over the weekend in front of Ryan Silver and fellow west coast scouts/writers. This young man has a chance to be a very special prospect.
Mason Johnson-Alvin Gentry Elite-2018
Johnson passes the eye test, he is long and has some good bulk to him but he can move well, he stretches the floor out with his shooting ability and he helped lead AGE to a 3-2 record over the weekend at the Mullen’s event.
Reed Myers-Alvin Gentry Elite-2019
Steady point guard for AGE, will not wow you with superior athleticism but brings a high IQ and great decision making. He can run the offense for any team, he was the floor general over the weekend at the Mullen’s event and also was their second leading scorer for the AGE squad.
Stevie Newendyke-BC Firestorm-2017
Stevie had begun to grow into his body and it’s also paying off on the floor. We always have known Stevie to be a shooter but now he is able to move a little bit better, cover more ground with the basketball & defend.
Kyle Klaus-BC Firestorm-2017
Klaus is the son of a coach and with that brings high IQ & feel to the game. He continues to improve and he showed that over the weekend with his expanding skill set, he ran the offense as well as showed his ability to score in a different role with BC Firestorm went 2-2 at the Pangos event.
Morningstar Takapau-AZ Power Pinter-2017
Takapu used his 6’8 height and huge length to dominate on both ends of the floor at the Mullen’s event. The squad went 2-3 over the weekend but the squad battles and he was a great team player as well getting all of his teammates involved.
Matt Kempton-AZ Power Elite-2017
The two-sport athlete from Brophy was huge for AZ Power Elite. He filled it up on the boards and scoring the ball inside. He has a good feel for the game, needs to work on some skill work but physically he has an advantage in many ways. Look for him to continue to develop and have a great July.
Andres Mayberry-AZ Power Elite-2017
Good guard, who showed this past weekend he can score from both guard spots, good floor general, can distribute and score. Good prospect to watch moving forward, look for a big July from Andres.
Emmanuel Taban-Power Factory-2019
Taban from Apollo High is a smooth athlete who can shoot the ball well and attacks the basket with ease. Needs to work on his off-hand and handling pressure in certain situations but a very intriguing prospect for the Factory squad. Was instrumental in the championship run of the Pangos event.
Steele Bennett-Power Factory-2018
Bennett is night & day from last year. He needs to work on his fundamentals & skills still but he is moving better on the floor, has begun to develop some skill & footwork inside and his motor has vastly improved, which showed this weekend at Pangos.
Malik Ondigo-Power Factory-2017
Ondigo has plenty of schools to watch him all weekend at Pangos. The 2017 prospect was a beast inside for the Factory squad. Ondigo’s size & length make him almost unstoppable inside, he is a force to be reckoned with this July.
Andre Harris-Power Factory-2019
Harris the ultra savy guard helped lead his squad to a title at the Pangos event. He can “go”, high motor, good decision making, quick off the dribble. Harris has a chance to develop as one of the top prospects in the 2019 class in Arizona.
Trey Checkett-AZ Power North-2017
Checkett held his own all weekend and quickly caught the eye of scouts & coaches on the west coast. He seems to have grown a little bit and has added offensive elements to his game. Look for him to continue to be one of the fastest rising prospects in Arizona!
Stock Risers:
Jok Jok-PowerHouse Hoops-2019
Superior athlete, all over the boards and was a huge rim protector at the Silver event. Needs to continue to develop his skill set.
Billy Jordan-PowerHouse Hoops-2017
The type of athlete who does the dirty work. Standing at 6’7 Jordan has a high motor and brings energy to the floor. He is a rising prospect in the 2017 class, lots of 4 year programs beginning to take notice in his game. He runs the floor well, attacks the rim with ferocity & can shoot the midrange. Needs to develop a consistent outside shot.
Jaxon Baker-PowerHouse Hoops-2018
The big fella picked up an offer from Northern Arizona, look for him to continue to shine for PowerHouse, this is his chance to step up and over the weekend at the Silver event was the beginning of the coming out party for Baker who’s stock is soaring.
Ryan Meza-Arizona Rebels-2017
Very steady, cerebral player. High IQ, can shoot the ball well, over the weekend at the Pangos event he helped the Rebels win the consolation championship. He brings a calmness to the floor and spreads things out. High academic prospect.
Brandon Tiffany-Arizona Rebels-2017
Tiffany hit the game winning shot for the Rebels in the Consolation of the Pangos event, he was the floor general all weekend and knows when to pick and choose whether it’s to score with ball in his hands or help his teammates and play the role of distributor.
Nicco Mannion-Earl Watson Elite-2020
Mannion was tremendous and his stock is rising as he also physically keeps growing. Sky is the limit for this young man.

Albright shot the ball all weekend long and continues to impress. He is a deadeye shooter and easily one of the top rising prospects in this state. Had a nice weekend at the Silver event. Was featured in the 2019 game.
